Werner Finley Hydro band Filter Sys. (WF-HBF) Gravity band filter Sys. (GBF)

Space requirement for Hydro Band filter is less when compare to GBF. Reduction of valuable floor space.

Large area required for the gravity band filter. It means loss of Valuable floor space at shop floor.

High Hydrostatic Head available with HBF Min of 250mm

Very low hydrostatic head. Max of 80 mm.

Thourgh put and filtration efficiency are much better because of excellent hydrosatic head. Hence, the equipment is very compact.

Poof Filtration efficiency due to low hydostatic head which limits the cake formation.

In view of excellent Hydrostatic Head cake formation on the filter media is fine and can achieve optimum filtration efficiency.

In view of low hydrostatic head to get higher efficiency needs expensive filter media to achieve desired results.

Consumption of filter media is minimum. Hence,operation cost is less.

Consumption of filter media is high. So operating cost is high.

WF-HBF has Perfect sealing mechanism on sides with steel wheels and moving band along with filter media ensures 100% against over flow.

GBF open from sides. This can lead to overflow of dirty cooland and hereby objective of coolant filtration is not satisfactory.

Energy consumption is less due to slow indexing of the motor.

Energy consumption is high in view of frequent indexing of motor.

Initioal installation cost is marginally high but low operation cost.

Initial installation cost is less but high operation cost.
