Air - Conditioner Selection Guide :
Formula for calculating required cooling capacity:
Q = Q1 + Q2
Q = Total heat load (watts)
Q1 = Heat load due to exposed area of panel (watts)
Q2 = Internal heat load due to electrical/electronics devices (watts)
Q1 = Area (sqm) x 5.5 x T (°C)
  Area - Exposed surface area of enclosure in square meter
  5.5 - Heat transfer co-efficient for metal surface
  T - Temperature difference between Max. ambient and Max. allowable panel temperature
  Q2 - Contact factory for more information on internal heat load calculation
Conversion
  1KW = 1000 W
1KW = 860 kcal/h
1TR = 3000 kcal/h
1TR = 12000 BTU/h

  • THe Ac's are designed to maintain a panel temperature of 5 deg. C to 8 deg. C below the ambient temperature at the site of installation for all non-insulated panels
  • The RH inside the panel can be maintained between 45 to 50 during humid weather conditions
  • Temperature- setting should be made between 25 deg. C to 35 deg. C for healthy operation of electronics and the sir conditioner
  • Settings below 25 deg. C can cause condensation of moisture inside the panel
  • It is essential to seal all openings in the panel before installing the air conditioner
  • All the above capacities are rated at 35 deg. C ambient temperature and 27 + 2 deg. C panel temperature
  • R134a models are best suited for high ambient operation up to 45 deg. C
  • The air conditioners are tested for reliability and performance in a climatic test chamber at peak loads and 45 deg. C chamber temperature
  • Power supply- 1PH, 230V, 50 HZ,AC and 3 PH, 440V, 50 HZ, AC
